Yujiro Kato is a 17-year-old aspiring basketball player from Singapore, now continuing his journey in the United States to pursue his dream at a higher level. Coming from a family of professional athletes, Yujiro was inspired by his younger brother, Daizaburo, who battles cerebral palsy, to use the power of sports to make a difference.

Motivated by Daizaburo's courage and resilience, Yujiro founded a nonprofit organization in Singapore dedicated to providing children with special needs the opportunity to learn basketball. Through partnerships with top coaches and players from Singapore, Japan, and the U.S., the program aims to create an inclusive, supportive environment where every child can experience the joy, confidence, and sense of community that sports can offer.

Yujiro’s mission is simple but powerful: to open doors for young athletes of all abilities and to show that with passion, support, and determination, anything is possible.
